Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Meet with amazing welcomes from our driver and transfer to Arusha City 50 Minutes to one hour. You’ll check in at Arusha safari lodge. The hotel has a beautiful room, delicious meals, a swimming pool, and Spa. Your overnight in this hotel is based on a bed and breakfast.
The morning after breakfast, with packed picnic lunch and drinking water, our team will pick you up at the hotel and head to Lemosho Gate crossing villages to west Kilimanjaro where you’ll see a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The drives will take you 2-3 hours, to the Lemosho gate. Upon arrival Lemosho gate, start walking slowly crossing heavy rainforest to Mti Mkubwa (Big tree camp) 3-4 hrs. Enjoy your night at Mti Mkubwa Camp 2,650m.
After a lovely night in the jungle and breakfast, we emerge from the rainforest and continue on an ascending path, we leave the rain forest behind now, and start another zone of Mount Kilimanjaro called Heather and Moorland zone. The route climbs steadily with wide views to reach rim of Shira Plateau. Temperature begins to drop as we’re gain high altitude. Long walk today with approximately 5-6 hrs. You’ll overnight at a beautiful camp called Shira 1 camp 3,610m.
Morning after a breakfast walk to Shira 2 camp through Moorland zone. We walk crossing the Shira Plateau which is easy day with gentle walk toward east to Kibo peak. We’ll get perfect view of Kibo peak covered by glacier and Shira Peak. The walk today takes about 3 hours where we’ll arrive early and get hot lunch at the camp. After lunch, we relax until evening where we’ll take short walk up for the acclimatization. We’ll return at the Shira 2 camp for dinner and overnight stay 3,850m.
Morning after breakfast with packed picnic lunch, continue walking to the Baranco camp. Although our end of the day (Baranco camp) almost the same elevation, this day is very important for acclimatization because we hike high and sleep low. We’ll be walking through Moorland and alpine desert towards east facing Kibo peak. There is a junction where Lemosho and Machame routes meet. We join together to Lava tower camp 4,600m. Get picnic lunch at Lava tower camp for about 30 minutes. After lunch descend to Baranco camp. The walk total takes about 6hrs. Overnight stay at Baranco camp 3,900m.
Morning after breakfast we continue on a steep ridge up the adventurous Baranco wall to Karanga camp. This is the one of the most impressive days to see Visitors and porters carrying luggage crossing to the tough wall. Some areas need to climb. After climbing baranco wall then we arrive at the top of Baranco wall. Relax and take pictures of Kibo peak with a beautiful glacier hanging southern side. We continue trekking up and down trail to Karanga camp. The walk takes about 3-4 hours. Get hot lunch at Karanga camp. After lunch relax for about one hour. Later you will walk up one hour for the acclimatization. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay at Karanga camp 3,995m.
Morning after breakfast with picnic lunch continue walking to Barafu camp through alpine desert. The walk to barafu camp takes about 2-3hrs. Dinner and overnight at Barafu camp 4,673m.
Mid night after refreshing tea with cookies start walking for summit. The walk to the summit takes about 6-7 hours. After arriving at the summit of Kilimanjaro UHURU PEAK 5,895m, take photos for about 20 minutes. After pictures descend to Mweka camp via Barafu camp. The walk down takes about 6 hours to Mweka camp. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweka campsite 3,100m.
Morning after breakfast descends to Mweka Park gate under a beautiful rainforest for about 3-4 hours. After checking out the Park, meet Van and transfer to Arusha City 2 hours. Overnight at Arusha safari lodge. Please note. day 9, our driver will pick you at the hotel and transfer to the Airport for your home flight or other destination.

Kilimanjaro international Airport is the Kilimanjaro and safari gateway. You will be taken from there to Arusha City one or Moshi town one hour for overnight. The following day drive to Kilimanjaro mountain park gates.
